Time again to share my two thoughts for Tuesday. First off, I am so glad that the mums I got last year have come back and are even taller and thicker than before. I remember being a little worried when I first got them because I was not successful at growing them before. At the same time, I was uber-excited because I had never seen red mums in person before and I thought it was just awesome luck that I saw them at the Garden Center.
Here I am posing by my plants. I found two varieties of red coleus plants which I placed in pots by my mums. I just love looking at them and their "lovely" color! Can you tell I like the color red?
My second thought this week is that our Independence Day holiday falls in the middle of the week this year. Boy, that is really gonna throw off my schedule...LOL! It's so much more fun when the holiday is on a Friday or a Monday, when we can take a long week-end off. Oh well! I just wanna wish everyone a safe holiday no matter what your plans are and no matter where you may be! Rock on, my friends!!!

Your flowers are so pretty. My pots are drying up in this heat. No amount of water seems to help.
At some point when this heat wave breaks perhaps they will revive. Is this wishful thinking or delusional thinking???
Happy 4th...see you next week.

Hi Liggy,
Your mums look amazing, and the color red is a beautiful fit for your front walk - warm, energetic and inviting!
Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Wow! You must be watering your flowers every day. They look amazing and they spice up your front walk nicely!
My mums are golden/orange, but they're not blooming yet - I'm a bit envious! LOL
Clicks for you!
Happy Independence Day!

Hi Liggy -
I LOVE coleus .., they some in so may colors and shapes. We're going to a 4th of July Tribute to the Eagles by the Orange County Philharmonic, so we won't exactly be rockin on ... but we will get to see some fireworks. Happy 4th!!!
