Introducing Mrs Robinson
Fans of Fifty Shades, have you heard the latest casting confirmation? Yes, Elena Lincoln, a.k.a. Mrs. Robinson, has been cast. And guess who accepted the part?
Yes, the famous ex-wife of Alec Baldwin - who is no stranger to playing sexy, seductive roles (remember the film 9 1/2 Weeks from 1986?).
So far, the feedback I've been getting from various social media site comments show that the majority of fans agree with the selection and look forward to the very problematic challenge this "Mrs. Robinson" will present in Anastasia's relationship with the very controlling, enigmatic Christian Grey. With her boyfriend having a mature ex-dom who looks as attractive as Kim Basinger, readers can only imagine how much emotional turmoil this will create inside a relatively inexperienced, laid back Ana who lacks in self-confidence.

Face Off! Mrs Robinson Picks #2
Okay today I'm back on the topic of Fifty Shades...since I'm almost done reading the entire trilogy! I'm probably a slower reader than most people, but I have to wait till the week-end to do my reading because when I start reading it, it's too hard to put it down. I was up until 3 am on a weekday when I finished reading the first book. I know! I know! Bad girl! Bad girl! LOL!

Two Thoughts for Tuesday
First it was Twilight, then it was The Hunger Games, now it seems women everywhere are driving sales up for Fifty Shades of Grey and getting really bloggingly excited about it! That includes me! I read the first book and am half-way through the second book (Fifty Shades Darker).
To be honest about it, I wouldn't be reading it in public like those women in the picture (LOL!) because it is classified as adult reading material (erotica). Twilight and The Hunger Games, on the other hand, are found in the Young Adult/Youth sections of libraries and book stores. The "Shades" series definitely does not fit in there. ;)

My Pick For Mrs Robinson
I don't want to sound like this is becoming a fan page for the 50 Shades trilogy but since I've been reading it, I've been picturing in my mind what these characters might look like. I posted my picks for a possible Christian Grey, shared my picks for a possible Ana Steele, and now here are my top three choices for Mrs. Robinson - the woman who has had the greatest influence in Christian's life.
While I believe these three actresses have the acting caliber and envious good looks to pull off the role of Mrs. Robinson (also referred to as Mrs. Lincoln in the book), I think the best choice would be Uma Thurman because she can be believably mature enough for the role but yet sexy and still young enough to make Anastasia insecure about herself and doubtful of Christian's sincerity. Doesn't she look like she could be classy businesswoman with a deep dark secret past?

My Pick for Anastasia Steele
While I'm wondering who might end up getting cast as Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, my mind is wandering off to who might get the part of Anastasia Steele.
I've read somewhere that the character was written with Kristen Stewart in mind and I can see how she's definitely fitting for that role...especially with Ana's constant lip-biting, which we see her do a lot in many of her movies.

My Pick for Christian Grey
I just started reading Fifty Shades of Grey...and so far, I agree that it deserves the attention it's been getting! It is very well-written...explicit, yes, but it proves itself true to the genre of erotic fiction. You can practically visualize the characters in their places, with every movement, see their facial expressions, and hear every thought that comes to their minds, especially Anastasia's.
