I've been listening to some of my old CDs and wondering how some of my favorite old bands are doing these days. Many of them (if they're still alive) do have some new music out...and they're still rocking it!!! One of my favorite classic hair band days rockers, Def Leppard, shows us in this music video that they are an ageless band.
Another band I really liked (back in the day) was this supergroup Damn Yankees whose members included Tommy Shaw (of Styx), Jack Blades (of Night Ranger), Ted Nugent (I always think of NRA when I hear his name), and Michael Cartellone (of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
That was one of my most favorite songs of 1990. I still have the CD single of it (remember when CD singles were popular? Yeah, before you could just download one or two songs off iTunes or other online music source). It's a little scratched up but I can still play it and enjoy it.
Incidentally, since there's a lot of talk about the upcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, I thought I'd mention that I think this song (High Enough) should be included in the soundtrack. Some of the lyrics in it would definitely apply to the main character, Christian Grey's attitude and behavior towards Anastasia. Just saying!

It's amazing how long some of the classic rock bands have endured and they are still packing stadiums. I like "High Enough" but had never seen the video before. Hopefully someone out there will see your suggestion for the movie sound track idea. haha...yah never know.

Def Leppard really is a good band, I remember when I found out their drummer only had one arm and I remember thinking what an awesome drummer and an awesome band!
The rock ballad is really understated, full of power and soul and heart... Great videos!

I know! I wish someone in the music industry gets the same idea or at least gets wind of mine so it can happen! :)
I remember when that happened, too. His story is amazing...
They sure do! The song brings back to my mind their rock ballads like Two Steps Behind. I agree with Trina...rock ballads are so powerful!
You make me feel older, Liggy ... I'm completely unfamiliar with the music you post about. Then again, what I post must seem prehistoric to you. Still, I always enjoy reading.
