Heidi Klum and Seal Break Up

Just a little over a year ago, I took a look at celebrity break-ups and pointed out some of the things I noticed about the couples before they announced their break-ups. But now I hear about Heidi Klum and Seal breaking up and I am just soooooo shocked!

If it's not gossip about celebrity spouses cheating on one another (yeah, I meant Ashton "What a Loser!" Kutcher) or about some celebrity's private nude photos getting leaked on the Internet (which I say, if you don't want others to see them, then don't take them in the first place!), then it's comments on a celebrity's physical appearance.

Oh yeah, why not talk about it? So here I am giving my "two cents" about the latest on Lindsay Lohan. Poor girl...she seemed like such a promising young star until she decided to let partying, drinking, and drug abuse become the highlight of her life. I noticed last year how this lifestyle was making her physical appearance age rapidly. But now the media is taking notice of her teeth. Look at how her teeth seem to be deteriorating:

My two cents about Kat Von D and Jesse James

So Jesse James and Kat Von D broke off their engagement for the second time! I'm sure many out there have already shouted out, "Who cares?!" when that popped up in the celebrity news and gossip feeds.

Yeah, me, too! I don't really care. In fact, my opinion is that Kat Von D is either just plain ole naive or she had a serious case of mistaken emotions, thinking that her sympathy for Jesse "Jerk" James was true love.

Seeing Double

Doesn't Suri Cruise look like a mini version of her mom, Katie Holmes? I think it's so cool when I see pictures of little girls who look so much like their mothers. Yeah, yeah...don't tell me.  Genetics played a role in it.  But not everyone closely resemble their parents as much as some do...especially these celebrities I happened to come across these pictures of.

A Look at Showbiz Break-Ups

Yes, everyone loves to talk about it.  Celebrities and their failing marriages.  It's nothing new.  Very few celebrities seem to be able to stay married to the same partner for a lifetime.  Those that do stay together longest are either staying out of the spotlight (hence able to keep their private lives PRIVATE) or not legally married (like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell).  What's up with that?!

I thought I'd take a look back at some of the popular celebrity break-ups (sorry if I didn't pick out any of your faves to include in here).  I noticed familiar patterns about their public appearances just before their break-up announcements.  You can just tell they're not happy together.  It's so visible in their body language. 

Look at Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman in the picture above.  They're both pre-occupied with their texting phones instead of paying attention to each other or with their surroundings.  I didn't include them here but a lot of the pictures I've seen of them together do not look like a very happy couple - even when they first got married.  Why is it that I hardly ever see Jordan Bratman smile?  You'd think that he'd show how happy he was being married to a woman that millions of young men would gladly trade places with him for.

Even my favorite young actress, Reese Witherspoon has had her share of unhappy public relationships.  Her marriage to Ryan Phillipe didn't last despite having such beautiful children together.  In the picture above, you can see how they're both looking away from each other.  It's like there was something more interesting to look at in their opposite directions.  

I think that my favorite female musical performer of all time, Madonna, may have had a lot of soul-searching in her life (which included a failed first marriage to Sean Penn) before she settled down with Guy Ritchie.  It seemed finally that she had the perfect showbiz marriage for awhile.  Guy was protective of her (kind of like Sean Penn was) but not so anti-papparazzi (unlike Sean Penn was) enough to punch someone for holding a camera in front of the couple.  Yet you could tell in their pictures (like the one above) that something just wasn't going right.  When you see even a camera-loving star like Madonna looking like she doesn't want to be out in public and her partner not even loosening up to smile a bit, it kinda makes you wonder just how happy they are together.

Okay, Johnny Depp fans, I will have to agree with you...Ville Valo might Johnny Depp beat as far as singing goes, but Johnny Depp does look HOTTER! 

“When I get home, I like to…”

When I get home, I like to have fun...and sometimes having fun means taking a moment to escape from reality! Yeah, why not? With so much to do and so little time - you know, with me being an awesome mom and wife and all...

So when I finally get the chance to relax, I'll sit down at my computer desk and play some mp3s. Then that's when it's time to load up the Photoshop on my PC and dream. Tee-hee! Here are some "mementos" of past " dream getaways."

Yeah, can you just picture me and Nicolas Cage a few years ago? Only Photoshop can make your dreams come to life in a photograph!


Now this would have made the news, too! Me and Sarah Jessica Parker out with the most eligible bachelor of the time...


Or what if I had Selma Hayek's sexy body and got to be with pre-Hulk Ed Norton? Hmmm...


Perhaps the best fantasy of all is being the star of a big blockbuster movie like Tomb Raider. Yeah! Picture me as Lara Croft! Move over Angelina Jolie cause here comes Liggy!!!
