Seether's "Careless Whisper" remake

Seether
If you haven't heard it yet, then by george (George Michael of Wham!?) you should listen to it now. The South African rock band, Seether has remade Wham's 1980's hit song "Careless Whisper", replacing the mellow saxophone with a dramatic electric guitar and a more pained, powerful voice than the original. Where Wham!gave Careless Whisper a somewhat confusing blend of heartbreak versus romantic feel in the original chart topper (not necessarily a negative thing), Seether set out to bring you an emotionally charged, power-driven, hard-rocking music piece.

Careless Whisper - Seether

You won't be able to find this remake in stores at this time. From what I read online, this tune is only available as a digital download from itunes, Amazon,Napster, Verizon VCast, and Rhapsody. You can click on the player I embedded from imeem's website to visit the download sites. Or you can go directly to Seether's Official website and click on the news link for the song. (NOTE: The above player does play the complete version of the song).

I like it!
That whole Michael's album is good. I have to admit playing it ad nauseum.

Hey, nice Madonna drawing!

Well thanks, Vince! And to you both, I do agree...both versions are great songs. After all, the original Careless Whisper wouldn't have been such a big hit if it weren't awesome to begin with. I listened to George Michael and own some CDs he recorded. But I like change...and Seether's remake of Careless Whisper sounds soooo awesome on my big stereo!

I just heard it on the radio, and I thought it was awful!

Not heard this will look out for it - it's a shame you could not have added it as a background song to this page
